What Direction Should Roeder Watch take?

We're still here at Roeder Watch.  With the trial over there has not been much to report and we've been trying to figure out where we want to take this blog.  Post a comment and let us know.  Should we close the blog but leave it up as an archive?  Should we make it broader and address the anti-choice movement and what they are up to?  Should we move in some other direction?

Thanks in advance for your input.

  1. Tracing the radical and violent subculture of the anti-choice movement - sort of like the SPC does for racist subgroups. Keeping up with and publicizing the actions and associations of people who are known to be violent and/or supportive of violence against providers and women. In general, making the mood that enabled Dr. Tiller's murder visible, uncomfortable and embarrassing for those who are similarly inclined.

  2. ^ What rebmoti said. I was thinking the same thing, honestly. Keep the heat and pressure on the radical violent groups to try to keep this tragedy from happening again.

  3. Encourage the taking of photos/films of antichoice protestors and publish them along with the names and addresses of the protestors.
Take a proactive prevention stance. If we had been doing this, Roeder would have emerged as the nutball he is.
Be the database for us so we can recognize these criminals nationally and prosecute them and/or make the case for stronger stalking laws.

  4. I think that it would definitely be useful to uncover the myth that Roeder acted alone, and continue exposing all of these nutjobs for what they really are - domestic terrorists.

  5. I think we could encourage women's clinics to photograph and or video street protestors. Could this blog handle that technically? Many clinic escorts are already doing this. We could feature the videos and photographs here as they come in. Time to let ordinary moderate Americans see what the FruitBat FetusSniffers spend their time doing.

  6. Hey,have you seen that a federal grand jury is investigating the Tiller murder to determine whether there was a national conspiracy? New life for this blog perhaps. Thank you for all you have done.
