Tell eBay No Auction For Scott Roeder (Updated)


As we reported the Kansas City Star has gotten word that several domestic terrorists plan an eBay auction to raise funds for Scott Roeder. Don't Let This Happen!

Please contact eBay and ask them to step up now and announce that they will not let an auction that glorifies murder taken place.

You can send a message through the eBay website. You can also write to: eBay Corporate Headquarters, 2145 Hamilton Avenue, San Jose, California 95125.

We've also found two phone numbers to call: 1-800-322-9266 and 1-888-749-3229. eBay's company hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Pacific time, Monday through Friday.

    Thanks very much. We will monitor for these listings. Our Offensive Material Policies are fairly comprehensive and I think they speak for themselves. Notably, the following are listed among the “not allowed” items:

    · Items encouraging violence toward a specific person

    · Any item that glorifies or promotes violence towards animals or humans

    · Personal belongings of anyone convicted of a violent felony or any work (such as a book) from which they might profit

    · Letters or artwork created by serial killers or violent felons

    · Items glorifying serial killers or persons convicted of a violent felons

    So hopefully based on these the majority of the items are eliminated.
